More about Floki:

Hello,

Due to my health issues and upcoming surgery, I need to rehome my beloved bunnies. It brings me great sadness so I am looking for a home where they will be loved and cared for. They are and should remain, house rabbits. They are free to roam, which means they are not kept in a cage but can relax in any place in the house. Of course, I had to bunny-proof the flat and remove plants and wires from the floor to ensure a safe environment. I am looking for a new home where they will be the only pets ( i.e. no dog or cat residents) and where there are no young children. Please do your research before adopting rabbits so that you can provide them with an environment where they can thrive. Bunnies need to be kept in groups of at least two so please never adopt a single bunny.

DIET
They currently eat orchard hay which I order online (happyhay.co.uk £35 per month) and drink water from a bowl. They also get greens such as parsley and coriander, and rabbit pellets (without grains). They were never fed grains or other unhealthy snacks that are marketed for rabbits. In the past, they also enjoyed Timothy Hay but I had a mild allergy to it.

FLOKI
The black one's name is Floki. He was adopted in February 2020 from a lady who lived in Charlton (London). She had lots of pets, and as she was pregnant she decided to rehome her rabbits. We were the lucky ones who adopted the lovely Floki, he was under 1 year old at the time.
Floki is a bit timid, but very sociable and will do anything for a treat. He does not fight when picked up but still does not love it. Floki has a longer coat and he needs to be brushed regularly, which he does not mind as long as he is getting treats at the same time. He loves to be petted on his head, and around the ears.

MEGHAN
The brown bunny's name is Meghan, she was adopted in May 2020 from EGPRR rescue in Essex. She was also around one year old at the time. She had a litter of kits at the rescue as she was impregnated in her previous home.
Meghan is sociable and adventurous and will do anything for a treat. She comes when called by her name, even from the other room (that's why we have not changed her name when we were adopting her). She does not like to be picked up and puts up a bit of a fight. Cutting nails is a challenge. Meghan has short hair which does not require a lot of brushing, which is good as she does not like to be brushed. She loves to be petted on her cheeks and the top of the head and ears.

They have been bonded together in June 2020. So they have been a couple for almost 4 years. They love each other very much and enjoy each other's company.
Both of them have lovely personalities, they are both neutered and in good health.

Generally, rabbits don't like being picked up. Floki and Meghan love to play with humans on the floor when receiving treats. They are not scared of people and will jump on their lap to get a treat.

Overall, they are pretty chilled bunnies, they are not excessively destructive, and they do not chew on carpets or walls. They enjoy chewing on curtains and wires, though. They are most active in the early morning and evening and just chill and relax during the night and day. Because they are free to roam they are not noisy (i.e. don't bite the cage at night).

If you have any more questions please get in touch with me. Bunnies currently live in Erith, DA8.

The adoption fee is £60 per rabbit, so £120 for both. I will give you their cage (100cm), nail cutter, brushes, and travel carrier for free.
