About Us
Rescue dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, small rodents, birds, horses. Family run and dependent solely on public donations and fund-raising. We have a newly revamped rabbit garden under shelter with hutches and runs as well as indoor accommodation for rabbits/guinea pigs that have been kept as house pets.
Rehoming Policy
Home checks carried out before adoption. Adopters must demonstrate that they have adequate sized housing, with good runs as well as warmth and shelter for winter and a knowledge of suitable food and care. Support and advice can be given. Adoption donation of £15 for one/£20 for a pair.
Admission Policy
Admission form to be completed giving details of animal, health, diet, temperament, reason for parting with it etc and must be signed over to the Ark. No admission donation necessary but we request any food/bedding/equipment no longer required by the owner
