About Us
We will require your name and contact details and also the name or type of animal you are looking to adopt. We also need a brief description of your home, for example, 'Do you have other animals, do you have children, is there access to a garden, are the rabbits indoor or outdoor bunnies.
Rehoming Policy
We do carry out a home check to offer prospective homes advice and information and to look at the accommodation the bunny/ bunnies will be living in. We only home bunnies to be one of a pair and we offer a bonding service to people adopting an ARC rabbit to go with their own rabbit. We do ask that, if ARC rabbits are to live in a hutch, that the hutch is of a good size, preferably 6' by 2' with a 6' by 4' run attached.
Admission Policy
We take rabbits in all year but have to operate a waiting list because we are always full. At certain times of year the wait can be many weeks so please be patient- will will contact you as soon as we have space.
How You Can Help Us
We are always looking for volunteers who live in the Twickenham area to clean and handle the foster rabbits. Our rabbits are housed in hutches in the gardens of their foster homes and it takes approximately 60 to 90 minutes. As the rabbits are outside it can be cold wet work if the weather is bad but it is very rewarding to leave the rabbits happy and cosy in clean hutches.
