Vetvet & Sam - Waiting 3 years for a home!
Velvet and Sam are a gorgeous bonded pair looking for a special forever home together this Christmas.
Velvet is a beautiful 4 year old otter rex doe. She has been in rescue for well over three years now and is the rescue’s longest resident. Sam is a very handsome neutered medium sized cross breed, aged 2 and a half.
The reason Velvet has been at the rescue so long is because she is not much of a people bunny and prefers the company of her own kind. No one has ever been interested in her because although she does not bite, she has a tendency to lunge and scratch as though she is going to which puts people off. A 'stroppy madam' is a good way to describe her!
Sam is a friendly, lovely boy. He is easy to handle and enjoys being stroked.
Velvet may never be much of a loving bunny, but we do feel with time and patience her behaviour will improve in a loving home. Most of all both of them would just like to have time to enjoy doing bunny things like munching carrots and binkinying around.
Velvet and Sam are really looking for an experienced spacious home as adults pets where Velvet can build her confidence in humans.
