Sophie & Sandy Wild X Rabbits

Sophie and Sandy have been with RSPCA Bedfordshire South since December. These two girls are speyed, microchipped and vaccinated against mxy and vhd and are looking for a new home together.

While they are very friendly and happy to hand feed, they appear to be the product of a wild and domestic rabbit “liaison" and have retained some wild bunny characteristics. They would therefore particularly suit a home where they can be given large living accommodation and plenty of stimulation.

They are currently sharing their home with some outdoor aviary birds and have adapted well to this unique foster environment. They are also used to dogs and older children .

We would ideally like to find them a permanent home with adults who are experienced with rabbits and are able to provide them with a large but secure environment.

Please could anyone interested contact Sam Nichols of the RSPCA Bedfordshire South Branch by e-mail to samcnichols@yahoo.co.uk

The Bedfordshire South branch of the RSPCA runs a foster scheme for unwanted and abandoned rabbits (full details are on our website at www.rspca-online.co.uk).
