Places Needed for 100 Rabbits
Furry Friends have had a phone call from a man who desperately needs to remove some rabbits out of a very bad situation.
Back in October we rescued 32 babies from a couple who were feeding them live to snakes. The man who phoned me has befriended the couple and has managed to pull out 100 adults who badly need to be placed. There were three that came out that had to be put to sleep at once. One had an eye hanging out, one had its skin hanging off and one had had its leg chewed off by a rat.
He wants to bring down the rabbits in groups of 30 every couple of weeks which means we need somewhere to send them.
We desperately need help in placing these rabbits as and when they come in.
Any rescues that feel they may be able to help - the first lot will be here the beginning of next week - would be very appreciated. Either that or offers of homes for the healthy ones (any sick ones will get treated as any other rescue we have in and treated and not rehomed until 100% healthy) are needed.
