Buster, a very lonely 9 year old male rescued rabbit desperatly needs company. He's currently residing with Cheryl of Sprowston Guinea Pig Rescue (Norwich). Buster would welcome a female bunny into his current home or alternativly if a suitable home was offered be happy to move into hers.
Cheryl writes - "Whilst I was feeding a neighbours rabbits when they were on holiday I spotted buster had a bad fungal problem on his back, I brought him home with me and treated his skin, changed his diet (he had a very poor diet) and gave him a much larger home (he was in a small cramped hutch). Several weeks later the owner decided not to take him home again and left him in my capeable care. Because of his age I did not want to risk getting him castrated. I would dearly love an old neutered female bunny to keep buster company for the rest of his days. Age and/or disabilities are not a problem. Alternativly if someone has an old neutered female and would like company for her then I am happy to rehome buster as long as the new owners are prepared to fulfill his needs. He is slightly arthritic and great care must be taken to ensure his coat stays in good condition."
Update: Busters new girlfriend will shortly be moving in with him. (11/10/03)
